Here are some recommended settings for Windows based devices.
Time Location
- Search Date & time settings
- Select Time zone (UTC+08:00) Perth
Language & region
- Search Language and select Edit language and keyboard options
- Set English (Australia) for Windows display language (you may need to Add a language if English (Australia) is not listed and ensure the Language pack is also installed)

Set your Locale
Follow these instructions if the October 2025 (25H2) update has not been installed on your device yet. Skip to next if 25H2 has been installed.
- Search Language and select Edit language and keyboard options
- Select Administrative language settings
- Select Change system locale...
- Select English (Australia) and save (may require a reboot to apply)





Optionally save for all users
- Follow the same process as above but select Copy settings


Follow these instructions if Windows 25H2 update has been installed.
- Search Region and enter
- Select Administrative tab
- Select Change system locale...
- Select English (Australia) and save (may require a reboot to apply)
